Hancock County Obituaries:
Recent obituaries (1996-present): You may make copies in the library (10 cents per page.) Full text obituaries are also available online at The Courier Newspaper Archives.

Mid-1800s to the present: Microfilm is available in Local & Family History area of the library.

Note: The Hancock County Obituary Index does not contain actual obituaries. You will need to record the newspaper name, date, and page number to view/print obituaries using microfilm.

Our friendly and helpful staff will be glad to demonstrate the use of our equipment and direct you to resources during your visit.  Copies made during your visit are just 10 cents per page.
