SummerREAD 2008

SummerREAD kicks off on Monday, June 2nd at the Findlay-Hancock County Public Library. Register your crew (family) from 9:30am to 8:30pm.

Build your imagination with exciting activities for all ages and reading levels by joining the Findlay-Hancock County Public Library’s 2008 SummerREAD Program.
Parents and grandparents can establish good reading habits by setting a good example. 

   
Join the construction crews:

Children’s SummerREAD:  A foundation for good reading habits begins here. Children of all ages may register: independent readers, beginning readers and read-to-me’s (infants through preschoolers).      

Teen SummerREAD:  Young Adults will continue the framework of good reading. Don’t forget to enter for prize drawings and trivia contests.  

Adult SummerREAD:  Build your interest in great books. Register to win prizes.  Make this a creative summer with Adult SummerREAD

 

  • Blueprints for Reading: SummerREAD kicks off on Monday, June 2nd at the Findlay-Hancock County Public Library. Register your crew (family) from 9:30am to 8:30pm.
  • Build your creativity: Check each week for your summer fun project suggestions.
  • End the SummerREAD Construction: Celebrate a successful summer Saturday, August 2nd, 10 to 12 with special activities and prizes.

Every year the Library has a Summer Reading Program.
Children who continue to read during the summer when school is not in session perform better in the fall when school resumes. Summer reading programs make educational reading activities fun!
