Join us for art, science, and engineering projects in our makerspace for kids! This month, we will be using pretend Maker Money to buy supplies and complete engineering challenges. Children 8 and under should be accompanied by an adult.

Do you love to draw? Join us for drawing tutorials and hang out with other young artists. This month, we will be making field journals and learning how to draw local animals. We will be joined by the Hancock Park District to learn more about these animals. Recommended for grades 2 and up. Space is limited and registration is required. This activity was inspired by our 2023 YouthREAD book The Line Tender by Kate Allen. Children 8 and under should be accompanied by an adult caregiver.

Celebrate the start of spring break by stopping in for a free Crafty Kit for Kids filled with craft materials to make an accordion butterfly, yellow duckling, and a puddle stomper craft, along with song and book recommendations. Crafty Kits are available beginning April 3rd, while supplies last. Kits are available at Findlay-Hancock County Public Library, the Bookmobile, and at the Arlington Branch Library.

Drop in and play with a selection of the library's toys. Explore new games, toys, and activities that are educational and fun while meeting other families. This program is for children with their caregivers.

This month, we will be learning calligraphy from exchange students from Japan from the University of Findlay.
Recommended for grades 2 and up. Space is limited and registration is required.

In partnership with the Borderless Relations Committee with support from You Belong, Kids Club: Exploring Diversity seeks to promote cultural awareness and acceptance. During each session, we will read and discuss a cultural story then further explore cultures through activities like watching short movies, making crafts, and enjoying cultural snacks. During our March session, we will be exploring Nigerian culture. This program is for grades 2-6 with an adult caregiver.
