The Findlay-Hancock County Public Library is concerned about your child’s safety and well- being in the library. We ask that you observe the following guidelines: 

• Children age 8 and under shall not be left alone in the library. A parent, guardian, or responsible person must remain in the same department of the library. Direct staff supervision is available only during library programs. 
• Parents or responsible persons are accountable for each child’s behavior and safety while in the library. 
• Parents or guardians must pick up their children prior to the library’s closing time. Children not picked up by closing time will be placed in the custody of the police for their protection.
