Need help choosing your next book? Enjoy having a snack while you read? Want to receive a few fun goodies this month? Teens in grades 8-12 can register with their email address to get a Teen Tote filled with teen library books selected especially for them, along with some other goodies like snacks and bookmarks! Registrants will receive an email with a Google Form to fill out to let us get to know them better. An active FHCPL card is required to participate.

Do you need volunteer hours for school? Are you looking for a way to help out your community? Would you like to meet other teens in the areas? Students in grades 7-12 are invited to come to the library for an hour of volunteering fun! Potential projects may include: prepping craft kits (cutting, sorting, assembling, etc.), cleaning books and shelves, organizing materials, and completing other projects for the library. No registration is necessary and you are welcome to drop in for part of the time if you cant stay the full hour!

Teen Night: Sign Language

Join us at the library for an intro to American Sign Language with ASL students from The University of Findlay! Learn the ASL alphabet as well as some other subjects and words. To ensure we have enough materials, registration is required. This program is for students in grades 6-12.

Pizza & Pages: Teen Read-a-Thon

Love reading and pizza? Join us for a teen read-a-thon and pizza! Bring your own book to read or borrow one from the library. E-books and audiobooks are also welcome. Pizza, snacks, and water will be provided. Register online or call the Youth Services desk at 419-434-1077 to reserve your spot.

Interactive Journaling for Teens

Join us at the library for an afternoon of interactive journaling! Family Resource Center staff will be here to help guide teens (12-18 years) with self-reflection through journaling. Free ACT Practice Test

Teens in grades 8-12 can take a free ACT practice test at the library! Please bring #2 pencils, a calculator, and a snack, if you would like. The library will provide some light snacks and water. Please arrive right at 9:30am and report directly to the Lindamood Room. The test will begin at 9:40am sharp! The test will be proctored by staff at Sylvan Learning Center. Register below or call the Youth Services desk at 419-434-1077 to reserve your spot.
