Children's Program

Join us as we get All Together Now and kick-off a summer full of fun at the library! Come register for SummerREAD, make crafts, play games, eat snacks, and even get your face painted. Activities will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with special hours featuring face painters from Art Me Party! from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Join us for art, science, and engineering projects in our makerspace for kids! Different projects each week. This week, we will be making games, mazes, and puzzles.

You can DROP IN ANY TIME between 2:00-3:30 PM. Children 8 and under should be accompanied by an adult.

Find out what happens when two species team up to help each other! Youll learn about some awesome partnerships including many here in North America, how they team up, and why. Join us at Oakwoods Nature Preserve (1400 Oakwoods Lane, Findlay). Well meet at the Richard S. "Doc" Phillips Discovery Center. This program is presented with the Hancock Parks District. Grades 2-6. Please register all children. Children 8 and under should be accompanied by an adult.

Follow a treasure map to collect clues and earn a small prize. This program will be hosted at the Oakwoods Nature Preserve at 1400 Oakwoods Lane, Findlay, Ohio at the Richard S. "Doc" Phillips Discovery Centers.

Want to make a custom keychain, magnet or pin? Want to show off your love for a favorite animal, emoji, fandom, or more? Then join us for a night of perler bead creation! Perler beads are small plastic beads that can be arranged into custom designs. Library staff will then iron the beads until they fuse together. Grades 2-6. Children 8 and under should be accompanied by an adult.

Do you love Legos? Lets build together! Come to the librarys new Lego Club to complete building challenges with other Lego fans. We provide the Legos, and you make them into something awesome.
