Find Your Joy at the Library During National Library Week!
What brings you joy? Maybe it’s getting lost in a great story, picking up a new skill, or simply spending time with others. However you define it, you can find a little more of it at the Findlay-Hancock County Public Library.
National Library Week (April 19–25, 2026) is our chance to celebrate all the ways libraries bring people together, spark imagination, and support lifelong learning. And there’s a lot to celebrate!
Here at the Findlay-Hancock County Public Library, there’s something for everyone—whether you’ve been coming for years, just moved to the area, or haven’t stopped in for a while. From books and digital collections to free Wi-Fi, job support, and creative programs, the library is here to help you learn, explore, and connect.
Libraries are more than shelves of books—they’re places where ideas grow, creativity thrives, and community happens. Whether you're diving into a new hobby, attending one of our incredible programs, or just looking for a cozy place to unwind and read, we’ve got you covered.
And because we’re all about helping you “Find Your Joy,” we’re celebrating with a fun raffle! One lucky child will win a cozy reading nook tent, and one lucky adult will take home a reading-themed gift set. Thank you to the Friends of the Library for sponsoring the prizes and a special pizza lunch for staff during National Library Week. Stop by during National Library Week to enter to win and join the celebration—we’d love to see you!
