Karl Farwig, a Master Gardener, will discuss the basics of community gardens on September 11th at 6:30pm at the Findlay-Hancock County Public Library.He will share about the local gardens and how you can participate in raising your own produce. Karl will address setting up a community garden and the benefits and challenges associated with them.
The YouthREAD Committee will meet to discuss 2018 YouthREAD books.

FHCPL welcomes member of the public to its annual members-only genealogy lock-in on Friday, September 22, from 5-9 p.m. at the library. Participants should arrive before 5 p.m. and park along Broadway or in the parking lot (the underground parking garage closes at 5 p.m.) Staff and volunteers will be available to assist with research, and participants may bring an optional brown bag supper. Children and teens are welcome to attend if accompanied by an adult. Registration is required, and participants may register at the library's Reference Desk or by calling 419-422-1712.
