Dan Sovocool, from S&P Global, will be here to show us all of the useful things that NetAdvantage can do for you and what changes have come to the site in the last four months. NetAdvantage contains detailed descriptions of companies, industries, and mutual funds. Dan will review in detail how to access company information, industry surveys, screening tools and much more. Krista Miller, Jacobs Elementary School Principal, is a proud proponent of the Leader in Me program that is used in schools all around the country, as well as here in Findlay. The Leader in Me is an innovative, school-wide model that enables educators to unleash each child's full potential. Come in to learn about this innovative system, which is in use by schools throughout the county and on the horizon to be implemented in a lot more. Krista will review the basics of the program, how it is implemented and results that have been seen.
The Findlay-Hancock County Public Library welcomes members of the Hancock County OGS (Ohio Genealogical Society) to its annual members-only genealogy lock-in on Friday, April 21 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. at the library. Participants should arrive before 5:00 p.m. and park along Broadway or in the parking lot (the underground parking garage closes at 5:00 p.m.) Staff and volunteers will be available to assist with research, and participants may bring an optional brown bag supper. Children and teens are welcome to attend if accompanied by an adult.
