Read for LIFE - Tutor Training. August 11. 10:00-3:30 p.m.

Read for L.I.F.E. will be offering a tutor training class on Friday, August 11, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Lindamood Room.  Potential adult volunteers must be at least 18 years of age and are asked to commit to one year or more of volunteering.  Volunteers must be literate, however, no professional training or education is required.  Read for L.I.F.E. is looking for volunteers to teach reading, writing, English, life skills and subject areas of the GED including math, social studies, and science.  Registration is required by calling or e-mailing readforlife@findlaylibrary.org.

Bullet Journaling Workshop

Come and learn about this creative way to organize your life! Bullet journaling is a method of day-to-day organization that is designed to be flexible and adapted to your own style. Bring a blank notebook or journal (lined or not--your choice) to work on after our program leader shares what works for her, and a few other options and ideas. Space is limited--please register in advance.
